Pricing

$1,500 per event. $3,000 a year for as many as you want.

Two ways to pay. Both include every module — silent auction, live auction, raffle, Fund A Need, tickets, sponsorships, donations — and your own subdomain on app.auctioncake.com. Pick whichever fits how often your organization runs an event.

Per event

$1,500

flat, per event

One gala a year, or one big event with no immediate next one on the calendar. You pay once when you sign up; the event runs as long as it needs to and stays accessible to you afterward.

Annual

$3,000

per year, unlimited events

Two galas a year and the math works. Three, and the cost-per-event is already cheaper than every other auction platform on the market. Run a spring auction, a fall gala, and a year-end giving day on the same plan.

What's included

Everything in the box.

  • Every module: silent auction, live auction, raffle, Fund A Need, tickets, sponsorships, donations.
  • Your subdomain on app.auctioncake.com with your brand applied — logo, colors, type.
  • Branded email receipts and PDF attachments out of the box.
  • SMS outbid notifications via your Twilio account (or ours — we can set you up).
  • Stripe Connect and Square OAuth — pick whichever your organization already uses.
  • Cashier station for iPad or laptop, with terminal hardware support for card-present payments.
  • Setup help — we walk you through configuring your event live on a call.

What's not included

What you pay separately.

  • Payment processor fees. Stripe or Square charges their standard rate (around 2.9% + 30¢ per online transaction); that goes directly to them, not us. We never touch your money.
  • Terminal hardware. If you want a Stripe Terminal or Square Terminal reader for card-present payments at the cashier, you buy or rent it from them.
  • Custom apex domain. The default is a subdomain on app.auctioncake.com. If you want give.yourorg.org instead, we can set that up — ask about it during setup.
  • Printed materials. Bid sheets, paddles, signage, programs — those are on you.
  • SMS at high volume. Twilio bills per message. For most galas the cost is a few dollars total. We'll flag it if you're sending a notification blast to thousands of bidders.

Common questions

Stuff you'd ask before signing up.

Stripe or Square — which should I pick?

Whichever you already have. If your nonprofit's bookkeeping runs through Stripe, stay on Stripe. If you accept payments at a thrift store or office via Square, stay on Square. Both support the full feature set. The reason we built support for both is that switching processors mid-stream is more annoying than building a second integration.

Can I use my own domain instead of a subdomain?

Yes. The default is your-event.app.auctioncake.com, which works out of the box. If you'd rather use give.yourorg.org or a similar custom domain you control, we'll point you at the DNS records to add. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

What happens to my data after the event?

It stays in your admin console. You can export bid history, payment records, donor lists, and a full event summary anytime. Past events archive cleanly — bidder profiles, item history, sponsor list, all queryable for as long as your plan is active.

Can I run multiple events on the same plan?

On the per-event plan, each event is a separate purchase. On the annual plan, run as many as you want — spring fundraiser, fall gala, year-end giving day, summer raffle, all on the same $3,000.

Is there a setup fee?

No. The $1,500 or $3,000 is what you pay. Setup help is included — we walk you through configuring ticket types, sponsor levels, items, payment processor connection, and whatever else you need on a single call.

Do you charge per bidder or per transaction?

No. The price is the price. We don't take a cut of what you raise, and we don't bill by bidder count or transaction volume. Stripe and Square take their processing fee directly; we never touch your money.
