Live auction

The live auction is the part of the night that happens from the stage. AuctionCake handles the bookkeeping around it so the auctioneer can focus on the room.

Assign paddles

At check-in, assign each guest a paddle number. The cashier station looks guests up by paddle, so when a paddle wins a lot, recording it takes seconds.

Record winners

As lots sell, enter the winning paddle and amount from the cashier station. The charge joins everything else that paddle owes, so the guest settles once at the end of the night.

Status board

A live status board projects the current state — what's sold, what's raised — so the room can follow along.
